My Testimony
Zion's Testimony: My Life for Yours
If you had met me years ago, you would have found someone hungry for God, but I didn't yet understand how deeply Jesus wanted all of me.
In 2012, everything changed. During a 21-day dry fast at home, I encountered the Holy Spirit in a way that forever transformed my life. The Lord filled me with His Spirit, and from that moment I couldn't keep Him to myself. On May 5, 2012, I began going into the streets to tell people about Jesus. I wasn't trying to build a name for myself—I simply wanted people to know the Savior who had rescued me, But There was Still a lot I needed to understand, being a born again believer
But Over the years, God continued to teach, correct, and shape me. He placed spiritual leaders in my life who helped me grow in His Word and in ministry. As I studied Scripture more deeply, I began to realize that Christianity is not about religion, titles, gifts, or outward appearance. It is about Jesus Christ.
The greatest lesson God has taught me is this: my life is no longer my own.
Jesus said that whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for His sake will find it. That Scripture became personal to me. Instead of asking God to fulfill all of my plans, I began asking Him to fulfill His plans through me.
My journey hasn't been without trials. I've experienced seasons of pressure, spiritual warfare, disappointment, weakness, and suffering. But through those seasons, the Lord taught me that suffering for Christ is different from simply suffering because we live in a fallen world. He showed me that tribulation produces perseverance, perseverance produces character, and character produces hope. Instead of running from hardship, He taught me to look to Christ, who said, "In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."
The Lord also began changing how I understood the gospel. I realized that the law exposes sin, but only Jesus saves. The answer to every broken life is not simply trying harder—it's surrendering to Christ. My passion became pointing people to Him instead of pointing them to myself.
Today, my greatest desire isn't to become famous, build a platform, or gain recognition. My desire is to know Christ more deeply and help others know Him. Whether through preaching, teaching, music, prayer, evangelism, or simply serving others, I want every part of my life to declare that Jesus is alive.
My prayer is simple:
"Lord, my life for Yours."
I would rather lose everything this world offers than lose intimacy with Christ. My identity is hidden in Him. My hope is in Him. My peace is in Him. And if my testimony can point even one person to Jesus, then every trial has been worth it.
To anyone reading this, know this: Jesus still saves. He still transforms lives. He still calls ordinary people to follow Him. And if you surrender your life to Him, you'll discover what I have—that losing your life for Christ is actually where true life begins…
